How we do it

Basics

There are no secrets in the creation of impressive interactive applications. There are no lengthy meetings required or business meals or exquisite technologies. All that is truly needed is decisive, talented people who know what they are doing. We are a firm that consists of especially creative people who work in an organized, disciplined fashion and are always 100% focused on their tasks.

In CYBER TECHNICS we work as a team. We are teams of production managers, designers, art directors and programmers who all work together in specific roles for the creation of interactive applications. Each of us comprehends his role and respects each other.

We analyze the production procedure in five sections: Production, Management, Design, Programming, Distribution.

Production

We study companies and the ways they communicate with their clients or their partners in order to improve significantly the current strategies that they follow, with the use of interactive applications. We study possible ways of presentation as well as how to lessen the costs and time schedules for implementing them with maximum efficiency. Next in process, our production managers come up with ideas, providing alternative scenarios. They take under consideration the objectives of the project, client's history, the content that is to be presented, artistic influences, audience approval, media of distribution etc. In the end, the whole idea concludes to a complete proposal.

Management

Management of creativity may sound like an oxymoron. That is exactly why we focus on management of apt elements that lead to the creation of the project such as the collection of the material, following the time schedules and budget restrictions. We have trust in our designers and we control their work as little as possible during the creative process. The work of the designers team is presented to the client by our production managers. They are the ones who handle the proposals and alterations based on their experience in clear statements and communication. From the original concept, up to the final distributed product, our production managers participate to the last detail.

Design

Just like in any artistic work, interactive design requires imagination, good taste and inspiration. We work on the material provided by our clients and the existing elements of the client's identity. Inspiration can "strike" at any time. From early sketches we proceed to Photoshop rough designs. Perhaps even some Flash first animations, too. All those steps are the seed that will grow into the final design within a few weeks.

Programming

Before we present our designs and scenarios we discuss them with out programmers. And this is utterly important so that they can already start deciding the best ways to implement the project from the start of the project. They may also come up with additional ideas, contributing to the designer team's creativity, coming from the latest news in technology. Later in the process, when the clients have concluded to a specific design, programmers can do their work more easily, since they have already considered how to implement it.

Distribution

As we move towards the completion of the project, we provide a beta version to the client. We also provide print-outs of every screen of the complete work so that the client can present his desired alterations or corrections. After one or two cycles of corrections we hand out the final version along with all the digital material, and if required, the scripts of the project. These files are well structured, commented and are delivered in a clear and tidy fashion, so that there can easily and quickly be alterations of the current project in the future.
